Google. It has the power to make or break any website. So powerful it's easy to forget the most important thing, the reader.
Adding those keywords and key phrases in titles and body copy seems like a sensible idea, but it can ruin the flow for the reader. This will reduce your ability to get your message across.
But with changes made by Google over the last few months it seems like finally content is back to being king. Google has always ranked good content by measuring how many links point to the page. This has worked well for many years. But according to some recent research this is changing.
Now the number of social shares is just as important, or even more important, than links. So you need to make sure you're active on Twitter and Facebook and creating content that's worth sharing.
I need to research this more, but I'll share what I know when I find out.
